MAKÜ'lü Academicians' TÜBİTAK 1001 Projects Accepted

Three project applications prepared by the academics of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) were found successful as a result of academic evaluation and became eligible to receive support from the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK).

Three project applications prepared by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) academics were found successful as a result of academic evaluation and were entitled to receive support from the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK).

The scientific evaluation processes of the projects proposed to the Research Support Programs Presidency (ARDEB) in the 1st term of 2023 within the scope of TÜBİTAK "1001-Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program" have been completed.

In this context, the project titled “Changes Occurring in the Vegetation Structure Under Natural and Artificial Conditions in the Early Period After Fire in Anatolian Black Pine (Pinus Nigra J.F.Arnold Subsp. Pallasiana Lamb. Holmboe) Forests” by Prof. Dr. Ali Kavgacı, a faculty member of MAKÜ Food Agriculture and Livestock Vocational School, the project titled “Multifunctional (Targeted, Ph and Redox Sensitive, Biodegradable, Autofluorescent) Curcumin-Containing Smart Nanocarriers for Theranostic Applications” by Prof. Dr. Halil Zeki Gök, a faculty member of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Letters, and the project titled “Investigation of the Therapeutic Effects of Ca-170 and Sivelestat on Tumor Microenvironment in Aom/Dss Colorectal Cancer Model in Mice” by Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Volkan İpek, a faculty member of the Department of Veterinary Pathology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, were entitled to be supported within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1001-Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program.
